A AHT iniciou a sua actividade em 1989 no Hipódromo Manuel Possolo em Cascais. Em 2005 mudou-se para o Real Clube de Campo D. Carlos I também em Cascais, onde passou a ter instalações próprias. Contamos com um muito grande número de voluntários, um monitor profissional de equitação terapêutica, e professores de ensino especial. As sessões decorrem todos os dias da semana durante o período letivo, contando com cerca de 100 cavaleiros felizes e entusiasmados.

Become a Volunteer
Volunteers are essential in every area of AHT life.
People can support AHT in many different ways – and we always need more. Whatever skills you can bring, giving your time to your local AHT group will mean that more disabled people can enjoy the therapy and fun of horses.
Volunteering with AHT should be rewarding and fulfilling – and we want you to benefit from your time with us. Our programme of volunteer training means it’s not just our participants who get the chance to learn and achieve their goals.
AHT is a diverse organization and we are at our best when we bring together people of different ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
